Piano Tuning

Professional piano tuning – so every note lands right

Temperature changes, humidity and regular playing continuously affect your piano's tuning. I recommend one to two tuning visits per year to keep the sound at a consistently high level. At every visit I also carry out a brief visual inspection and address minor issues on the spot.

Pitch correction: If a piano is severely out of tune, a coarse pitch correction is needed before the fine tuning so the result stays stable. (+€89.25 surcharge)

Service & Maintenance

Preserve the feel – before problems arise

Regular playing wears down the action and keyboard; longer periods of inactivity can also cause damage. Noises, stiff keys or an uneven touch are typical warning signs. I offer regular service visits during which I assess the instrument's condition and draw up a tailored proposal if needed.

Climate Care & Maintenance

Dry air does damage – good climate protects

Especially in winter, every piano suffers from dry central-heating air. The consequences range from faster detuning to cracks in the soundboard or loose tuning pins. I advise you on effective solutions – from room humidifiers to the Dampp-Chaser system, which regulates humidity directly inside the instrument – and I carry out professional installation.
