I learned the craft of piano making at Steinway & Sons in Munich – a place where quality and precision are lived every single day. I bring those same standards to every instrument I work on.
My approach
Every piano deserves honest craftsmanship
Whether it's an annual tuning in your living room, caring for an old family grand or preparing a concert instrument: I take the time to understand the instrument before I begin. Small details make the difference – in sound, in touch and in longevity.
My service area covers the greater Allgäu region (around Altusried, Kempten, Leutkirch and Isny) as well as Freising and the surrounding area.
Career
My path into piano making
2021 – 2024
Journeyman Piano Technician at Steinway Munich
3.5 years of tuning and service for private customers, concert tuning (including Gärtnerplatz Theatre Munich), field service and work in the repair workshop. Several advanced training courses at the Steinway factory in Hamburg.
Since 2024
Self-employed with Claravier Klavierbau
Based in Altusried in the Allgäu, servicing pianos throughout the greater Allgäu region and around Freising – mobile, at your home. Tuning, service and maintenance.
